Your school’s branding

Branding in the admin menu sets your school's logo and colours. They appear on your public page, on printed certificates and name tags, and on displays.

What you can set

  • Logo — used on displays, certificates and your public page. Upload the highest-resolution file you have; a display is a big screen and a small logo shows every pixel.
  • Colours — a primary and an accent.

Contrast is not optional

A pale school colour on a white background can be unreadable on a projector at the back of a gym, and unreadable to anyone with low vision. CommunATI warns you when a chosen pair is too close, and you should take the warning seriously rather than working around it.

What branding does not change

Your branding themes your school's surfaces. It does not restyle CommunATI itself — the buttons, menus and the CommunATI wordmark stay as they are, so a parent moving between two schools still recognises the app.

Multi-school divisions

A division sets its own branding, and each school under it can override with its own. The most specific one wins: a school's logo beats the division's on that school's pages.

Moderation

If your organization allows sponsors or member schools to submit their own logos, those land in Branding moderation for approval before they appear anywhere.
