CommunATI brings schools, families, and community organizations together to run programs, competitions, and events — and to celebrate kids…

At many events you'll get an NFC wristband — a band you tap on a tablet to check in, start your turn, and move through the day.

Choose what CommunATI tells you about, and how.

CommunATI works fully in English and French — every screen, email, and document.

CommunATI runs on four kinds of device, and you probably only need one of them.

Linking your child gives you their schedule, results, and privacy controls in one place.

When an event is live, scores update in real time on big screens at the venue and on your own phone.

CommunATI messaging keeps parents and teachers in touch without free typing. You pick a ready-made message and fill in only safe choices (a…

CommunATI reminds families before an event so nobody misses it. You’ll get a reminder about a day before and again a couple of hours before…

Parents see their child's classes, events, and results once they're linked. There are two ways to bring them in.

Skip the typing — bring your whole class in from a CSV exported by your student information system.

CommunATI ships six classroom games. They split into two kinds, and the difference decides what you need in the room.

Multiple-choice rounds. Students answer on their own devices; the display shows the question and the standings.

You ask a question out loud; the first team to buzz gets to answer. The display shows who got in first.

Two teams guess the most popular answers to a survey question. You run it from the front; no student devices needed.

Teams spin a wheel, buy letters, and try to solve a hidden phrase. You run it from the front of the room.

A grid of categories and point values. Teams pick a tile, you read the question, and whoever buzzes first answers.

A spin-to-win draw for prizes, door prizes, or picking who goes next. It isn't a quiz — there are no questions and no teams.

A display is any screen CommunATI can drive — a classroom television, a projector, a screen in a gym. This covers what hardware you need, h…

Your teacher will give you a join code — usually six letters and numbers, like AB12CD.

An event is anything you run for participants — a science fair, a robotics meet, a showcase, a tournament.

The live ops dashboard is your command center once the doors open. Find it at Admin → Events → (your event) → Live.

Judges score on a tablet, and the form adapts to how each category is judged.

Bring co-organizers, teachers, and volunteer leads into your organization with the right level of access.

Templates are the fastest way to set up an event. Each one arrives pre-filled with the roles, scoring and schedule that kind of event usual…

The builder is a short wizard for events that don't match a template.

A multi-tier competition is a chain of events where winners move up — a classroom round feeding a school round, feeding a division, and so…

The check-in console is the single station-bound screen for the front desk on event day. It replaces flipping between a roster, an inspecti…

Wristbands let staff and volunteers identify themselves by tapping, instead of signing in on a shared device.

Announcements put a message in front of the room — on the displays, and optionally read aloud over the PA.

Certificates are generated from the competition results, so you don't retype names.

Some people arrive without having registered or paid. Walk-up payment handles them at the door without leaving the check-in console.

Families and staff can add photos to an event gallery. Nothing they upload appears anywhere until an organizer approves it.

Volunteers are the people who run the day but are not competing and not staff — parents on the door, alumni scoring, a coach timing heats.

Branding in the admin menu sets your school's logo and colours. They appear beside the CommunATI brand on your event and registration pages…

Analytics shows participation across your organization: how many competitors, how many events, how attendance moves over a season.

If your division runs its own website or student system, CommunATI can send it events as they happen instead of someone re-typing results.

If your school uses a learning management system, CommunATI can appear inside it as a tool, so teachers open it without a separate login.

CommunATI has optional AI helpers. They are off unless your organization turns them on, and every one of them produces a draft for a human…

CommunATI ships 66 event templates. A template is a starting point: pick one and the new event arrives with a sensible schedule and scoring…

Competitions judged on knowledge or built work — robotics, math, debate, science fair.

Performances and exhibitions. Most are showcases rather than contests; a few are adjudicated.

Sport. These carry the most schedule structure — pools, brackets, heats — and the most varied scoring.

Events involving the whole school rather than a team or a class.

Not events at all — standing displays for hallways, offices and the cafeteria. Nothing is scored.

Cultural and Indigenous events. Several carry a cultural protocol; read it before you publish.

Programs that run across several days rather than one afternoon.

Local businesses and community partners can support programs and events — and get recognized in front of families.

When you fund a sponsorship, payment flows directly to the organization through a secure processor.

For children under 13, CommunATI asks a parent or guardian to make a few clear choices before the child appears anywhere public.

CommunATI is built for Canadian schools and communities, so privacy is the default — not an afterthought.

Every child can compete publicly without revealing their real name. You decide what others see on scoreboards and displays.

You can take your data with you or ask us to erase it — both are self-serve.

Most pairing problems clear up in under a minute. Work down this list.
