Start from a template
Templates are the fastest way to set up an event. Each one arrives pre-filled with the roles, scoring and schedule that kind of event usually needs.
Pick one
Open Events → New → Browse templates. The gallery is grouped by category — robotics, coding, science fair, music, talent, sports and general — and you can search it. Selecting a template pre-fills a new event with its defaults, which you can then change.
What a template brings
- The event type and its category.
- Sensible role labels for that world — a robotics template says Coach, a sports template says Athlete.
- A starting scoring setup and schedule shape.
When a template isn't right
If nothing fits, build it yourself with the Custom Event Builder. You can also start from a template and change everything about it.
